The project included removing old hardwood floors and installing 850 sq ft of Shenandoah Oak engineered flooring. Subfloor Leveling for Smooth Results
Before the floor installation, our team inspected the cement subfloor. Some areas needed light self-leveling to ensure a stable and even base. Proper subfloor preparation is key to preventing noise, movement, or gaps in the future. We also paid special attention to the kitchen transition, making sure the flooring and tiles met evenly, without any change in height.

Eco-Friendly Underlayment and Reinstalled Moldings
For added comfort and moisture protection, the customer supplied Eco Cork Foam underlayment, which is both waterproof and soundproof. This premium underlayment helps enhance the durability and feel of engineered hardwood flooring. We also carefully removed the existing shoe moldings before installation and reinstalled them after the flooring was in place, keeping the original look intact.

Once the new floor was installed, we removed all debris from the job site as part of our flooring cleanup service. The final result is a beautiful, high-quality engineered hardwood floor that fits perfectly with the customer’s space and lifestyle.
