At 247 Wadsworth Ave in Washington Heights, Manhattan, customer E.M. wanted to refresh their bamboo floors and restore their natural beauty. Covering 550 sq ft, the project required careful sanding and refinishing to achieve a smooth, durable finish while keeping the natural look of the wood.

Process Description

Our team started by sanding the bamboo floors to remove imperfections and old finish, preparing the surface for refinishing. Since the customer preferred a natural look, no stain was applied. Instead, we used three coats of high-quality water-based polyurethane to protect the floors, enhance their durability, and highlight the natural grain of the bamboo.

This approach was tailored to the unique needs of an apartment in Washington Heights, ensuring the project was done cleanly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption. The result was a brighter, fresher living space with bamboo floors that now look as good as new.
