At 300 E 74th St in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, customer D.K. wanted to bring new life to their hardwood floors. The project covered 441 sq ft and required professional sanding and refinishing with a natural look. Along with the refinishing work, our team also carefully moved two pieces of furniture to make the process stress-free for the homeowner.
Process Description
The project began with sanding to remove the old finish and imperfections from the hardwood surface. We used wood filler to address any gaps and applied amber seal to enhance the natural tone of the wood. To achieve a durable and polished result, we applied three coats of premium water-based polyurethane in a natural finish, ensuring the floors would stay both beautiful and resilient for years to come.
Our approach was tailored to the character of an Upper East Side apartment, where precision, cleanliness, and efficiency are especially important. The result was a refreshed floor that brightened the living space and gave D.K.’s home a warm, timeless feel.
