Our Refinishing Process
We started by sanding the floors to remove scratches, scuffs, and old finish layers. Since the customer opted for a natural look with no stain, the wood’s original tones were preserved. We then applied three coats of water-based polyurethane, ideal for CitySpire’s residential environment due to its low odor and fast drying. A satin finish was used to provide a subtle, elegant sheen that enhances the grain without being too glossy.
