Our Sanding and Refinishing Process
We began by carefully sanding down the entire 260 sq ft area to remove old finish and surface imperfections. Our dust-minimizing equipment ensured a clean process—ideal for an apartment setting. Once the surface was even and raw wood was revealed, we applied three coats of premium water-based polyurethane in a matte finish. This not only enhanced the natural color of the wood but also gave it a subtle, modern sheen that fit perfectly with the aesthetic of the Gramercy neighborhood.
