Full Scope: Laminate Install, Refinishing & More
We began by removing the upstairs carpet and installing 500 sq ft of homeowner-supplied laminate flooring. Then we moved on to refinishing 500 sq ft of engineered wood flooring, carefully sanding and applying one coat of the customer’s chosen Minwax stain (either Aged Barrel 1096 or Smokey Brown 1076), followed by 3 coats of water-based polyurethane in a semi-gloss finish.

Step & Railing Refinishing for a Complete Look
We didn’t stop at floors. The 16 steps were refinished on the tops only after removing old carpet. We also stained the top railing to match the new floor color. While the spindles were left untouched, the result was a seamless flow from floor to railing.
