We began the project with a deep sanding of the entire 500 sq ft parquet floor, carefully navigating the intricate patterns to ensure consistency and avoid damage. Our dustless sanding process kept the work clean and suitable for apartment living.

With the surface smooth and bare, we skipped staining to retain the natural wood color, which perfectly complemented the apartment’s refined aesthetic. To protect and enhance the wood, we applied three coats of high-grade water-based polyurethane, known for its low odor and fast drying—ideal for Manhattan apartments. We finished the job with a satin finish, offering a warm, subtle sheen that matched the client’s taste and preserved the parquet’s character.
