Project Overview
Hardwood floor renovation in Manhattan is a great way to refresh your space, and that’s exactly what we did for F.A. With a 534 sq ft floor needing sanding and refinishing, our team at Wood Flooring Masters made sure to provide high-quality, professional flooring services.
Sanding and Refinishing Process
Sanding is an essential part of the hardwood flooring renovation process. We began by carefully sanding F.A.’s floors to remove the old finish and imperfections. This allowed us to prepare the floor for refinishing with a natural look, no stain, or color change.

Polyurethane Coating for Protection
To provide long-lasting durability, we applied three coats of water-based polyurethane. This provides extra protection to the wood and helps maintain its quality over time. The satin finish provides a soft glow, without the high gloss, giving F.A.’s floors the perfect look.
The Final Result
The final result of this hardwood floor renovation was stunning. The natural wood grain was preserved, and the protective coating ensured the floors would remain in great shape for many years to come.
