Our team at Wood Flooring Masters was brought in to install beautiful prefinished 3-1/4″ white oak hardwood, chosen by the customer for its clean grain, warm tones, and timeless appeal. With nail-down installation and meticulous preparation, we helped turn this Williamsburg home into a polished and welcoming masterpiece.

A Smooth and Complete Experience from Start to Finish

From day one, B.W. appreciated our hands-on approach. We began the project by carefully covering and moving all furniture and belongings to ensure everything was protected throughout the process. Before the wood even touched the subfloor, we applied 2,100 sq ft of 5 mm rubber underlayment using high-quality adhesive — a vital step for both comfort and sound insulation, especially in Brooklyn apartments.

Once the foundation was ready, our installers nailed down each plank of the prefinished white oak with precision, creating a seamless, elegant surface across the entire home. As a final touch, we installed temporary floor protection so B.W. could continue moving into their space without worry.
