In the heart of Manhattan’s elite Columbus Circle neighborhood, Wood Flooring Masters completed a high-end flooring transformation for Room 5400 of a distinguished hotel property. Located at 60th Street, this project aimed to enhance the refined interior of a luxury suite that sees constant use by discerning guests.

A Suite Elevated by Elegant Flooring

The client, N.I., oversaw the refinishing of a 650 sq ft hotel suite, including a 350 sq ft living room and a 300 sq ft bedroom with closet space. The goal was to restore the floor’s luster while aligning with the room’s upscale aesthetic. With a vision rooted in warmth and sophistication, Walnut stain was selected for its rich character and universal appeal.

Our Signature Refinishing Process

To begin, we meticulously sanded the existing hardwood floors to remove old coatings, surface imperfections, and years of wear from high foot traffic. Our team then applied a premium-grade Walnut stain, enriching the natural wood grain with depth and elegance.

To protect and preserve the finish, we sealed the flooring with three coats of water-based polyurethane, selected for its eco-friendliness, quick curing, and low odor—ideal for commercial environments. A satin sheen was applied to deliver a soft, inviting glow without the glare of high gloss, offering a timeless look that enhances both comfort and luxury.
