Introduction to the Project
T.D. from Kensington, Brooklyn, wanted to revitalize their hardwood floors and bring back their original charm. The project involved sanding and refinishing 334 sq ft of hardwood flooring. T.D. chose to maintain the natural color of the wood while adding a durable protective layer that would enhance its appearance. The goal was to restore the floor’s beauty without changing its natural tone, using a high-quality finish that would provide long-lasting protection.
Sanding the Hardwood Floors
The renovation began with sanding the 334 sq ft of hardwood. Sanding is a critical step in the refinishing process, as it removes old finishes, dirt, and imperfections.
