In this hardwood floor renovation, we removed damaged flooring and installed stunning prefinished hardwood that would elevate the space. Removing Old Floors and Water Damage
The initial step in this renovation was to remove over 3,100 square feet of existing flooring, which included 1,500 square feet of water-damaged glue-down floors. We made sure that all the old floors and baseboards were properly removed before the new installation began.

Sealing and Installing New Prefinished Hardwood
Next, our team applied a high-quality sealer, Sika, to ensure that the new floors would be protected and last for years to come. The application of a good sealer is crucial to maintaining the durability and appearance of hardwood floors. After the sealer dried, we proceeded with installing 7” wide prefinished hardwood planks. The prefinished hardwood floors provide a sleek, polished look that is easy to maintain, making them an excellent choice for both residential and commercial spaces.
Baseboard Installation and Cleanup
Along with the new floors, we also installed brand-new baseboards that complemented the rich tones of the hardwood. Baseboards not only enhance the look of a room but also help protect walls from damage. To ensure minimal disruption to D.Q.’s schedule, our team worked overnight to complete the project without interrupting daily activities. Additionally, we handled all the cleanup, including the removal of any garbage, so D.Q. could enjoy their newly renovated floors immediately.
